Does ChatGPT know your business exists?
Paste your URL — any small US business. We run six real buyer-side queries against ChatGPT search and Perplexity, shaped to your industry and your metro, and check whether you’re in the answer. Free. Public. Sharable. Works for trades, manufacturers, attorneys, dentists, restaurants, retail — anyone customers find by searching.
How it works
Capabilities, city, certifications — pulled from your homepage in a few seconds.
Buyer-side queries shaped to your industry + your metro — the kind your customers actually type.
ChatGPT search and Perplexity. We capture every citation and check whether you show up.
Eight AEO readiness gaps — FAQPage + LocalBusiness schema, llms.txt, mobile speed, certs in plain text, more.
Shareable URL with your score, the queries, who got cited instead, and what's missing — yours to send around.
What it costs
The check is free. We cover the AI search credits — about $0.27 per run. Re-running the same URL within 24 hours pulls the cached report instead of running a fresh check.
If you want the gaps fixed, we’ll rebuild your site first — see the live demo before you decide. The build is priced per site (we send you a number). Hosting is $9.99/month once you’re live.
Already know your site needs the rebuild? We’ll build a live demo on your shop’s data — free to look at, no contract, no call.

Does ChatGPT know my business exists?
Open ChatGPT in search mode, ask three or four buyer-side questions a customer in your area would type, and check whether your business name appears in the answer or the citation list. Faster: run the free check on this page — it does six buyer-side queries against ChatGPT search and Perplexity in 30 seconds and returns a public report.
Is this tool actually free?
Yes. No signup, no credit card, no metered tier. We cover the AI search API costs (about $0.27 per run). Re-running the same URL within 24 hours returns the cached result; results refresh on the next day.
How is this different from Otterly, Profound, or AthenaHQ?
Those tools are enterprise-grade citation tracking SaaS — designed for agencies and brand teams, priced from $99/mo to custom enterprise. They track citation share over time across many brands. This tool is a free one-shot diagnostic for a single small business: run it, see what's broken, fix the gaps, re-run in 30 days.
What does the report tell me?
Five things: which AI engines cite you today (or don't), which buyer queries you appear in, who got cited instead, the eight structural signals AI engines look at and which are missing on your site, and a 0–25 readiness score so you can re-check after fixes.
Why am I not showing up in ChatGPT?
Most often, structural reasons: missing FAQPage schema, no LocalBusiness JSON-LD, services hidden in image carousels instead of plain HTML, no /llms.txt, mobile load over 3 seconds, or the site is too new to be crawled. The report flags which apply to your site so you can prioritize the fix.
How fast do fixes show up in citations?
30–60 days typically. AI engines re-crawl on roughly that cadence. Run the check before a fix, ship the change, re-check after a month to see if your citation count moved.
Is this only for manufacturing or service businesses?
It works for any small US business — manufacturers, trades, attorneys, dentists, restaurants, retail. The query selection adapts to your industry automatically based on what's on your homepage.
What does Rebuilt Studio do beyond this tool?
We rebuild small-business websites first. If your AI Search Check report shows the structural gaps are bad, we can rebuild your site to ship all eight signals by default — typically live on your domain within 24 hours of saying yes. The build is scope-priced ($1,000–$5,000 typical); hosting is $9.99/month.
