Can I cancel Rebuilt Studio hosting and keep my files?

TL;DR

Yes. Cancel any time from your Stripe billing dashboard or by replying to any email from us. We send the source files within one business day and provide a one-page guide for moving the site to a host of your choice (Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, your existing cPanel, anywhere). The domain has always been yours; we don’t hold anything.

The Hosted subscription is month-to-month with no annual commitment. Cancellation is a single click in your Stripe dashboard or a reply to any email from Rebuilt Studio. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.

On cancellation, we send a final bundle: the source files of your current site, the database export if there is one, and a one-page guide explaining how to upload the files to a host of your choice. The most common destinations are Cloudflare Pages free tier (the cheapest path going forward) or whatever cPanel host you used before.

The domain you use with Hosted is always registered in your name at the registrar of your choice, we never own the domain. We point your domain’s A and CNAME records at our infrastructure for the duration of Hosted, and on cancellation you point them wherever the new host wants. The handoff is two DNS record changes plus an SSL cutover, typically done in under an hour with zero downtime.

Common follow-ups

Will my site go down when I cancel?

No, not if you plan the cutover. We keep your site running through the end of the prepaid month, and you point DNS at the new host before that month ends. The new host has the files; visitors see the site continuously.

Do I get a refund if I cancel mid-month?

Hosted is billed at the start of each month. If you cancel mid-month, the site stays live through the end of that billing period, no partial refund, but no early shutoff either. If we are unable to deliver against a paid month for reasons on our end (rare), we issue a pro-rated refund.

What if I want to come back later?

Send us the URL and we’ll re-onboard. The recurring Hosted price at the time of re-signup applies; legacy pricing is not preserved.
